Terms of Use

Important beta notice: Kepact balances, penalties, gains, and losses are virtual. They have no cash value and cannot be deposited, transferred, or withdrawn.

The service

Kepact helps people form private accountability agreements, record daily completion, share optional proof, and track virtual consequences. It is not a bank, wallet, payment service, gambling service, or fitness or medical provider.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, protect your password, and use only your own account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not impersonate another person, scrape the service, interfere with security, or use Kepact for illegal, abusive, or deceptive activity.

Pacts and proof

Pacts are agreements between users for motivation and accountability. Kepact does not guarantee another user's performance or the accuracy of their proof. You may upload only content you have the right to share. Do not upload private information about a non-user without permission.

Health and safety

Exercise and habit challenges can involve risk. Choose goals appropriate for your ability, follow professional medical advice, and stop any activity that causes pain or danger. Kepact does not provide medical advice and is not responsible for injuries caused by a chosen activity.

No real money

During the beta, all dollar signs are a motivational scoring device. Kepact does not accept deposits, connect bank accounts, initiate transfers, settle debts, or create a legally enforceable right to payment. Users must not use the beta to demand off-platform payment based on a virtual result.

Availability and changes

The beta may change, experience interruptions, or end. Features may be added or removed, and data may need to be reset during testing. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.

Suspension

We may restrict or close accounts that threaten users, abuse proof content, exploit the service, or violate these terms. You may request account deletion through Support.

Disclaimers

The beta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Kepact disclaims implied warranties and does not promise that every feature will always be accurate, secure, or uninterrupted.

Changes to these terms

These terms will be updated before any real-money, payment, or bank-connection feature is offered. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
