Privacy Policy

Kepact is an early beta. It uses virtual balances only and does not connect to or move money from your bank account.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to operate your account and pacts: your name, email address, authentication data managed by Supabase, challenge terms, invitations, check-ins, streaks, virtual balance entries, and support messages.

Proof uploads

If you choose to upload a photo or video as proof, it is stored privately and is intended to be available only to the people participating in that pact and authorized Kepact support personnel when needed to resolve a report.

How we use information

• Provide authentication and your private dashboard.
• Create, accept, and track pacts.
• Calculate streaks and virtual consequences.
• Protect the service, investigate misuse, and answer support requests.
• Improve the beta using aggregated, non-identifying product information.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, and private storage, and Vercel for application hosting. They process information for us under their respective terms.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate and protect the beta. You may request account deletion through the Support page. We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for security, disputes, or legal compliance.

Children

Kepact is not intended for children under 13. The beta should not be used by a minor without the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Changes

We may update this policy as the beta changes, especially before enabling any bank connection or real-money feature. The current effective date will appear above.
